PERC 4e/DC
The PERC 4e/DC provides ultimate performance, data protection and scalability for internal and external SCSI RAID applications. It features a high-bandwidth x8 PCI-Express host interface, 128 MB Transportable Battery Backed cache and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, 50. Its two U320 SCSI channels can be used for internal connection on PowerEdge servers or for external connection to PowerVault 220/221 Direct Attached Storage.

PERC 4/DC

It features a 64-bit, 66MHz PCI host interface, 128 MB Transportable Battery Backed cache and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, 50. PERC 4e/Di
PERC 4e/Di provides high performance data protection with better scalability than PERC 4e/Si. It has two 320 MB/s SCSI channels and 256MB of cache. The controller has internal and external connectors and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. This controller is an option for PowerEdge 2800, 2850, 6800 and 6850 servers.

PERC 4e/Si
The PERC4e/Si provides high performance data protection. It has one 320 MB/s SCSI channel and 256MB of cache. The controller has an internal connector only and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. This controller is an option for PowerEdge 1850 servers.

PERC 4/SC
The PERC 4/SC provides quality data protection, with connection to either internal or external drives. It features one 320 MB/s SCSI channel and a 64-bit, 66-MHz PCI host interface. It also has 64MB of cache and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50. It is available on value-focused PowerEdge servers.

PERC 320/DC
The PERC 320/DC provides quality data protection for internal drives. It features two 320 MB/s SCSI channels and a 64-bit, 66-MHz PCI host interface. It also has 64MB of cache and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 10, and 50. It is available on select PowerEdge SC servers and Precision workstations.

PERC 4/im
The PERC 4/im solution is specially designed to provide RAID 1 functionality for PowerEdge 1855 blade servers. Utilizing SCSI hard drives and its Write-Journaling feature, PERC 4/im provides quality data-protection for two-drive configurations.

CERC SATA 6 Channel
This solution provides a great price/performance balance, supporting up to 6 SATA hard drives internally with RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. It is targeted for Precision workstations, PowerEdge SC and value-focused PowerEdge servers.

CERC SATA 2S
This solution provides RAID 0 and 1 functionality to SATA hard drives. This solution utilizes the integrated SATA controller on select PowerEdge and PowerEdge SC systems, so there is no need for additional hardware.

OS RAID
Operating System (OS) RAID provides RAID 0 and 1 functionality. OS RAID is a software RAID solution and so it utilizes no additional hardware. OS RAID is available with Windows or Linux operating systems and management tools are specific to the chosen operating system.
