Snowmageddon in Albany Georgia


 Last night there was a light dusting of snow that fell
on Albany, GA.  The near panic that preceded this icy precipitation down here was so extreme that even fast food restaurants were closing early on Tuesday afternoon.







Fortunately I live in a city that does not have a lot of people and all of the roads are flat.  One of the advantages in living in a less densely populated area is that when there is a weather storm there are less people to panic.  Living in a less densely populated area can also be a disadvantage when it comes to getting services and supplies close by, but this time things worked out OK.
 Today I have the day off because of this light dusting of snow.  I am glad to have a day to work on some home projects.
One of the projects that I worked on last night was I entered a contest to design the next jersey for my cycling group, Bicycling Commuter Cabal.

Well finally I have made progress on one of my goals. I have been working on learning PHP and have created my first eCommerce web store. If you want to check it out it is located here . Looking for another camera.

Looking for a compact digital camera. This is the spot for taking notes. I want a small camera with a decent lens that takes raw images. It must also have manual F-stop and aperture settings.  I take a lot of pictures from my bike like this one .  My Samsung Galaxy Note 3 takes good images, but I want better. I have an ancient Canon EOS 10D with a Cannon EF 20mm 1:28 lens.  I love taking still life and landscape photos with this camera and super sharp lens.  The dang thing is so heavy that I do not want to ride with it unless I am really on a camera taking picture ride. The The Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR This is another possibility. Generally I have always purchased Canon cameras, but I may have to change.
